Mounting
After the prints are made they can be mounted on a variety of materials to protect and display them. PPS can mount on single or double weight mountboard, foamcore, gatorfoam, sintra or virtually any other flat board up to 1" thick.
- SW BOARD - cardboard product slightly less than 1/16" thick.
- DW BOARD - cardboard product approximately 3/32" thick.
- FOAMCORE - foam covered by paper on both sides, light weight, excellent mounting board, but fragile, larger sizes likely to bow unless supported.
- GATORFOAM - foam covered by paper on both sides but tougher and more durable than foamcore, light weight, excellent mounting board, much more likely to remain flat & rigid.
- SINTRA - moderately expanded PVC sheet, lighter than plexiglass and more durable than foamboards, excellent mounting board, thinner sheets flexible and able to be bent into curve, heavier sheets much more rigid.
